  3. For space shuttle flights element sets are updated rather frequently. 
  4. It is advisable to keep only the latest two-line element set in the 
  5. respective file, like 'sts-68.dat' for STS-68, that would contain only 
  6. the following three lines:

  12. The author's policy is to keep all element sets that are distributed 
  13. and to place them also in an archive file, typically now called 
  14. 'sts-68.dat.all', as shown below. However, to insure that the most 
  15. recent TLE set is being read by 'tlexgen' and 'sattrack', there is only 
  16. the most recent TLE set in 'sts-68.dat'.

  40. Two-line element sets for space shuttle flights are also distributed 
  41. by the U.S. Space Command. That means there is an entry for e.g. STS-68
  42. in tle.dat, the file transferred from 'archive.afit.af.mil'. Program 
  43. 'tlexgen' will discard this entry and rather uses the first one from 
  44. 'sts-68.dat' if the 'sts-68.dat' is listed before 'tle.dat' in 
  45. the input file 'tlelist.dat' in 'SatTrack/data', which is the input 
  46. file for 'tlexgen'. If you rather want to use the U.S. Space Command 
  47. data set, reverse the order of the file names listed in that input file. 
  48. Remember to always run 'tlexgen' after any kind of change was made to 
  49. these data files, in order to update the resource file 'tlex.dat'.

  51. Typically, after a shuttle mission has been completed, the last TLE set is 
  52. also saved in 'sts.dat'.
